Rona has a 90 day return policy, after 90 days your stuck with it. No credit, exchange nothing!

I purchased recess lighting at RONA unfortunately they were the wrong type. I tried to return and or exchange the lights for the correct ones but was told sorry your past the 90 day return policy. Box had never been opened. So now I'm stuck with $140 worth of lighting that I don't need and I have to go out and buy the ones I do need? They couldn't give me a store credit? They still keep my money and I re spend it on what I actually need? NOPE. I will never step foot in a RONA ever again.

Payment

Rona in Grand Bend is one of the worst stores in the whole of Ontario. The owner does not apply payments properly they cash the cheques and dont post them to your account. And when you phone they are very rude and hang up on you. I will never ever go into that store again.

Consistently treated poorly

I've noticed at all the big-box hardware/home improvement stores, the staff are generally not very pleasant, but Rona out does them all! Consistently, for many years, I've been treated poorly at my local Rona stores. I will go anywhere else, despite having a Rona very close-by.

4 unreturned calls to reschedule a dishwasher installation

I am on the *** of cancelling my appointment to have a dishwasher installed as the company contracted out by Rona will not return my calls for a rescheduling. I have lost confidence in Rona and am reluctant to do business with them again in future. It is amazing how a company can fail to realize that they stand to lose many more profits by losing someone's business for good (not to mention the bad press they receive) than by having a decent contractor represent them from the get go. Cancelled order

I placed an order online at warden ave location sept 19 2021. 2hrs later i was sent an email stating order was cancelled. When i called store i was told it was cancelled by store because not enough stock. Told them they have 585 bags in stock. I ordered 50 plus delivery. Was told by manager all his stock will be sold by today?? And will not put my order together to ship. SO THIS IS WHY IT IS HOME DEPOT ALL THE WAY GOING FORWARD. Lost receipt -no return

bought pressure 9days ago and i lost the receipt. unable to return - no receipt unlike the the homedepot , they have software to track items per Rona costumer service.

My husband and I bought a counter top from Rona and sold it from under us. Definitely don't recommend to anyone.

Disappointing Customer Service

The staff seems clueless when you are asking questions or wanting info on products. When you order something, you are constantly chasing them down, ( no follow-up on their side) . Spend more time calling and hoping someone will answer the phone, yet when they do, they are unable to help, or plead ignorance and do nothing to try and resolve your query. Are they always on coffee or what??

Poor customer service

Rona sold a special order product by Kaycan - siding and accessories. We paid in advance. The order was put in on July 3, 2021 and was to be received by end of July at the latest. We are now end of October no ETA to be provided. We have done several follow-ups and keep getting the runaround. Do not recommend this store.

Dissatisfied due to customer service for curb side pickup

We arrived at 3:30 pm to pick up for curb side pickup and did not receive our order to 4:55 pm after multiple attempts with staff walking in and out with other peoples orders!

User's recommendation: Don’t shop at the Rona on Blythwood Road in London as the staff are very disorganized and their manager would not even come out to speak to us about the situation!

We ended up getting this set we ordered but I kept phoning and asking if it was in and nobodys new and then when they checked they said there wasnt any in and then another person said there was three sets in besides the point we ended up getting a set that cost us over $900 I am happy with the set just not happy with the communication that they were supposed to call me when mine came in and no one did. I waited on the line for quite a long time and kept being transferred to different people finally I got the right one and we ordered it and picked it up that day .

Railings were sold incomplete. Cannot get parts

The railings were sold to my contractor without connections for securing the rails to the posts. Have contacted Rona in fort Erie . They knew this problem existed when it was sold. I have contacted Jedd Sider the owner and cannot get ant satisfaction. I paid over 2000.00 for this railing and need to this resolved. S Erie rona
